Provider Experience

Doctors and nurses are health systems’ most valuable assets and point of differentiation in delivering high quality, patient-centered care. The rate of burnout among clinicians is on the rise, which is negatively impacting the achieving the Triple Aim of healthcare: enhancing the patient experience, improving population health, and reducing the cost of care. This report identifies key challenges for improving the provider experience—reducing inefficient workflows, uncoordinated communications, and information overload—and explores how the implementation of digital health solutions can restore the joy in practice.
